The Book Loft is a quaint bookstore, but also a powerhouse. From manicured selections along wide walkways and clean shelves, to an entire section devoted to the littlest readers, the Book Loft backs up all its charm with a strong selection, rapid custom orders, and events that invite the community to enjoy the space as if it was their own living room. Come for the books, and stay for the family feel provided by owners Sophie and Heather.

Went to an author event for Dr. Frances Mei Hardin at the Book Loft, absolutely loved it. Amazing space, great local bookstore vibe. Walked away with about 5 books - love their selection and curated collections. Will definitely be going back!

The space is SO welcoming and comfortable to shop , browse and contemplate. I love the staff, as they are knowledgable and make fantastic suggestions. More than anything(?) but there is so much to enjoy about this place, is it is arranged in a thoughtful manner where all titles are easy to locate. A perfect and needed addition to Oak park.

Was so happy to see this new shop open in the location of the old Book Table. Every town needs its local bookstore! I used to work in publishing and this shop has an excellent mix of book titles so theres something for every reader. I love going to the kids section with my niece and nephew. The owners are so nice and really seem to care about the community.
